British luxury knitwear brand, Chinti & Parker, launched its latest Mr. Men Little Miss collection, enriched with Digital Product Passports (DPPs) as part of their continued collaboration with leading technology provider, Fabacus.
Following the success of past collections, this latest collaboration with Fabacus and Sanrio, cements Chinti & Parker’s position as one of the first movers utilising Digital Product Passports (DPPs), providing consumers with detailed insights into the origins, composition, and journey of each garment. As DPPs edge closer to becoming an EU legal requirement with recent legislation, this initiative showcases how brands can lead the charge towards greater supply chain transparency and reflects growing consumer demand for responsible fashion.
Rachael Wood, co-founder, and CEO of Chinti & Parker shared; “Continuing our collaboration with Fabacus to integrate Digital Product Passports into this collection allows us to elevate the customer experience while staying true to our commitment to sustainability. It also aligns beautifully with the playfulness, innovation and creativity of the Mr. Men Little Miss designs.”
Silvia Figini, COO Sanrio EMEA, India and Oceania, Mr Men Worldwide added; “At Sanrio, we are dedicated to fostering happiness through our brands, and collaborations like this demonstrate how beloved characters can inspire positive change. We’re proud to see Mr. Men Little Miss championing transparency and sustainability through this exciting partnership.”
Each garment in the collection features a QR code that, when scanned, reveals a wealth of information about its materials and sourcing. Consumers can explore the details, empowering them to make informed, and value-aligned purchasing decisions.
Andrew Xeni, Founder & CEO of Fabacus commented; “We are proud to enable brands like Chinti & Parker to stay ahead of the curve, with Digital Product Passports becoming a legislative tool in driving transparency and accountability. Following our past success’s together, this collaboration brings to life the benefits of connected product data, offering consumers visibility while demonstrating the possibilities for a more sustainable and informed fashion industry. We’re proud to be using our technology and service to create new, innovative ways for brands to build trust and connection with their audiences.”
